Can you light a fire with a flint, would you know how to use an axe safely and how to cook best over an open fire? Everyone loves a campfire, and what could be better than lighting your own fire and cooking a simple wholesome meal? Skin a rabbit and make your own rabbit stew for lunch or opt for a pizza in our woodfired pizza oven. We can offer this and much much more. Whether you want to learn about extreme survival techniques or time honoured traditional bushcraft skills your experienced tutor can tailor a session especially for your group.

Other skills to try include whittling and the safe use of knives, rope making, shelter building and the opportunity to use our two green woodworking lathes. Most of our bushcraft sessions take place in our very own woodland – Greensand Wood – close to Wellington. The equipment is also all mobile to be brought to you for a great session of experiencing nature.
