PSRC (Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course)

PSRC is the Paddle UK (British Canoeing) safety course that replaces the FSRT (Foundation and Rescue Training)

The Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course focuses on giving you the skills to confidently and safely perform basic rescues and problem solve for scenarios that might crop up when paddling. The course takes place on flat water and you will have the opportunity to try out, and practice rescuing, a wide range of paddling craft including kayaks, canoes, sea kayaks, racing craft, sit-on-tops and SUPs. This course is invaluable for all paddlers, and is a prerequisite for those going on to become a Paddlesport Instructor.

The course usually takes place over 1 day on sheltered water in Taunton.
