Progress to Grade 3
This course is for those paddlers who are comfortable kayaking on grade 2 white water, and are ready to progress to grade 3. Build on all your white water skills in larger water and bigger rapids on the Dart Loop (or other rivers in the southwest). In addition to developing the skills and tactics of paddling down and playing on moderate white water, there will also be the opportunity to explore some appropriate peer rescue techniques. We do our best to tailor the course to your needs, and there will be plenty of time to practise and gain full confidence in all the newly taught skills.
What to bring:
All your normal paddling gear and some lunch.
We will supply:
All safety equipment and some expert friendly coaching! If you do not already possess your own paddling gear then we can supply you with a kayak, buoyancy aid, helmet, wetsuit and cag.
